RELIQUIA OLOROSO
When Don Antonio Barbadillo Ambrossy died in 1921, his last will and testament included wines he referred to as “grandfather’s”, in reference to his grandfather Benigno Barbadillo Hortigüela, founder of Barbadillo in 1821. These wines, which passed from grandfather to grandson and from grandson to the sixth generation untouched, have therefore been aged for more than one hundred and fifty years.
INTENSITY, PRESENCE,
AGED AND FULL BODIED.
This is our Oloroso, dark mahogany in colour, clean and with golden amber reflections. Among its flashes of colour flow the pleasant and intense aromas of noble woods and dried fruits that give the intensity of presence: aged and full-bodied.
