NUDE
A non-aged red wine in which the aim is to offer the maximum expression of the grape variety, without the typical overlays of ageing. Barbadillo’s Tintilla Nude aims to offer the aficionado the possibility of discovering the tintilla de Rota grape with the least possible intervention from both vinification and ageing.
MAXIMUM EXPRESSION
FROM A RED WINE NO AGEING
Here at the winery, we believe that our work with the variety, which has only taken its first steps in recent years, will require experimentation until we can offer the best possible result from among the proposals devised by our different wine experts
This is a highly layered wine with violet edges, which leaves a very expressive touch on the nose, with a predominance of fruity notes. An unfiltered bottled wine, it is pleasant to the palate, enveloping it in a subtly tannic and fresh taste.

VINEYARDS AND HARVEST
NUDE
The vineyard that this wine comes from is a single plot of 5 hectares in the Santa Lucia estate planted with the local variety “tintilla de Rota”, which had practically disappeared from the area for decades but is now recovering.
All of it is planted on albariza soil. Albariza is a marl (soft rock formed by sediments) with remains of diatoms (microscopic unicellular algae whose cellular wall is formed by a silicon shell known as frustule). These form a unique, very light and porous soil, which is very important for the root system of the vine. As the profile of albariza soils is homogeneous, the roots are able to reach the marl or tosca -soft rock- and continue to advance until they reach more than ten metres in length.
